I'm curious about what benefit you hope to gain by relocating the traveler?

Both locations have drawbacks. The bridge deck traveler ruins a good cockpit
seating area and can make sleeping in the cockpit problematic. The traveler
in front of the helm is a knee knocker and makes moving around the cockpit
more difficult.

But either location can be set up to offer easy adjustment from the helm
when single handed, if that is your concern.

Subject: Stus-List 35-2 traveler question

There's a 35-2 that I'm looking at buying, and my question is whether it
would be possible to move the traveler from the bridge deck to just forward
of the helm (the way it is on the 35-1). I haven't been able to find just
the right picture that will show if there is enough room ahead of the helm
pedestal and behind the lazerettes to install a bridge or some kind of
support to mount the traveler.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
