The limber holes on my boat have the same problem.They probably couldn't
make the holes any lower because the drill body drill chuck would hit the floor
before the drill bit. I found a clean bilge makes the boat smell fresh, so I
wet/vac the bilge periodically to stay ahead of problems. I

I had to fix a 3' by 5' spot of wet core on my 90' 34r ahead of the keel this
winter do to 3 limber holes drill through the hull in to the core. I sealed
the limber holes with splash zone. I tried epoxy but the core in the frames
was to wet after 2 months in heated storage with fans. It turne

they had a flexible angled adapter for hex shafts. I bought that and drill
bits with the hex end. Then to Home Depot where I bought semi rigid 1/
