Hi Bob, I have not, I gave it a little bit force and it "rocked" slightly.
I just didn't want to break anything. Are they built with dowel pins? are
those two outer holes for the dowel pins?

Handrail is probably epoxied onto deck. Have you tried sliding a putty knife
beneath each section?

It has one cable that I'd guess is about 40' long that plugged into the
e80(?) chart plotter. It was cut about 10" from the chartplotter. I have
both ends of the cable but it will need to be spliced.
No idea the shipping cost but my guess is a lot (probably at least $100).
Weighs about 35 lbs plus
Hey everyone, after 3 years of cruising, 2 of which full time in the
Caribbean we are putting Breakaweigh up for sale as we are returning to
Canada to resume land life for a while as we plan our next adventure.
Breakaweigh has been maintained as a full time cruising blue-water boat and

mine is wood external handrail. In the picture in this link, the hole in
the middle is where in the cabin handrail screw goes in; the two on the
outside were hidden under the cabin handrail, exposed after I took the it
off. I tried to see and feel, there was no metal inside.

So today I was working on the shift cable, I have a few observations,

Just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for all the wonderful
advice in this thread.
Looks like i've got a decent project to keep me going until the habors open
on May 1st!
Thanks again,

Giving away a Raymarine RD424, at least that's what I think it is. Was
helping a friend with his recently purchased Cal 28 and he just wanted it
gone. He cut the cable at the chart plotter side and gave it to me thinking
I could use it. These radars aren't compatible with the new chart plotters

I remember when they had large resolution Pix like that that you could click

I wonder why, if the actual large res pix are sitting on their server, why they
don’t let people see them?
Afraid we might see too much detail?

Mine and likely others have nuts welded(SS) or pressed (wood) into the external
handrail standoffs.
Thus a bolt/screw on the inside screws into these nuts--more or less!
I say this because depending on how well the cabin-top holes match the external
hand rail standoffs, it may not be possible to
So I took the handrail inside the cabin off, exposed the holes hidden, I
assume those are for the handrail outside the cabin. There seems to be no
screws in those holes. Is the outside handrail attached to the cabin with
screws or something? Mine isn’t coming off yet.
Thx

Have stayed out of this A4 thread for a variety of reasons, however based

An Oil analysis might be a good CSI. Some people here have found out a lot

Hi Lee, having had an Atomic 4 for 15 years, I can say the 2nd video sounds
largely normal once you got it starte. So, it seems yo tell me compression
is OK. The first one sounds a little rough, like a fuel issue. That
could happen if the engine was run all the way out of fuel ans you had

Lee,
I'd suggest you take a look at the carburetor, stuff tends to grow
there. I had a similar situation over a long winter layup and found,
believe it or not, spider webs in the carb. It's not too hard to take
out the main jet, spray down with carb cleaner and blow everything out.
