So today I was working on the shift cable, I have a few observations, please refer to the picture here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lRj58eqi21xl-f9p0yG47malqUAFqLyX/view?usp=sharing 1) the mounting where the bracket is attached to, is a bit loose from the hull; how is it attached to the hull, would I be able to fix it? 2) should the tube (where I marked in the picture) be inside the black conduit? 3) the end had a fair amount of thread left on it, but now I have to thread it all the way in, I am thinking something else has changed its length, it shouldn't be like this, thoughts? thx in advance.
