Every time I try to delete a volume by id I get an error. Is this normal?
Deleting by VolumeName works fine.

In general it is not a good idea to delete either a
Pool or a Volume since they may contain data.

I have a job that failed because I accidently unmounted the tape during a
backup (was trying to access the 2nd drive to label some tapes).
Coincidentally, the job failed. Is there a simple way to resume or retyr the
job where it left off? Job ID is 13 in this snippet.

I have an ADIC scalar 24 autoloader with two drives. Drive 1 (/dev/st0) is
currently being written to via a bacula job. Drive2 (/dev/st1) has a volume
mounted in the drive but is not being used. Both were previously working.The
problem is that Drive 2 won't eject/unload the current volume.

I've successfully recompiled bat support with bacula (bat support: yes).
However, when I run the binary I don't get any output.

that the VolBytes column is so much smaller than the rest of my tapes. Included

For some reason my newly installed dell 124t tape drive is only recognizing one

these hosts? I've noticed that different host respond with varying speeds
despite being on the same network. Wondering if this has to do the client OS
doing some throttling based on work load.

I periodically get tape error messages via email and from the bacula log files.
Most of them look something like this...

Does anyone know or have experience with a company that offers a bacula support
contract? I just talked with a rep from Bacula Systems in Switzerland, the
prices were much more than we can afford.

Hello,
Frequently, bacula jobs stall on a 'waiting for a mount request'. However, when
I do mount the requested tape, it still doesn't run. Wondering what I'm doing
wrong here. Any ideas?

I sent an similar post a few weeks ago regarding 3rd party support contracts.
My goal is to overcome common problems and to be able to better administer our
bacula systems.

I've been having ongoing issues with bacula and my 124t. Anyone out there
having any problems? If not, would like to know that as well. Maybe we can
compare storage conf files?
