Hello List, Hello Kern,
i am addressing a well know issue regarding bacula and it´s restore
feature.
I have seen a list where this issue is listet as the most wanted feature
it think.
My questions:
- How long will it take until moved or deleted files will be reconized ?
- Is there a workaround ?

Thank you Arno,
This is rather what I expected. Kern seemed to say he was using the

seems less fragile, so I think I'll go with it. I have a few

I'm using both with a StorageTek (Sun) L40 library.
I use the chio-changer inside Bacula and mtx from the CLI.
( Although, iir I had to make some changes to the chio script before it
would work correctly. ) I have also used the mtx script with bacula, and
I /know/ I had to modify that one.

I did some searching via Google, and found some older mailing list
threads that suggested it might be possible, even something that
mentioned Novell themselves might

Hi
I have a barcode-less autochanger, and would like to run an automatic
scan (update slots scan) before starting each nights backup-job. I
guess it could be done with a RunBeforeJob, but I am at a loss as to
how.
Any feedback/solutions would be appreciated:)

Hi,
I've got the following pool definition:
Pool {
Name = sede_pool
Pool Type = Backup

AutoPrune = yes
Volume Retention = 10 days
Accept Any Volume = yes
Label Format = "${Job}-${Year}-${Month:p/2/0/r}-${Day:p/2/0/r}"
Maximum Volume Jobs = 1
