and a microphone in. The motherboard has also a MIDI-Connector. I have a

I have an ECS L7VTA2 motherboard with integrated sound
and I can't use it with ALSA properly. First of all,
in the mixer, the PCM is only a switch, so it can be
only on or off; the master can be changed but it does

The problem I am having is that the "sound rate" changes and is not correct
for all applications.
Using the same hardware running Mandrake 9.1 everything is good. I am able to
run either Mandrake 9.1 or 9.2 on the same hardware so if you have any tests
for me to run then I can.
