So I'll clarify.. For me at 210lbs 5 lbs is not noticed on climbs or the feel of the bike. Same bike same wheels etc so maybe you are more sensitive to weight.
Pat it really wasnt directed at you. I lost say 3 mph going to steel from an aggressive race bike. Had lots of fun .. Just because I'm not sprinting at 30 mph and averaging 20 plus doesn't mean I'm crawling along either.. Had I wanted that race experience I would NEVER buy a Rivendell.
