I feel your pain, for I share it whenever I change tubes on my ss and fixies. But it's also good to know that changing tubes on IGHs is no worse. (FWIW, regarding chain tension: I am too lazy to do the Sheldon-approved fix for out-of-round rings, so I simply learn the crank position that puts the most tension on the chain, and make sure that I have the crank so positioned when I tension the chain. > > My Brompton does have a SA 3 speed hub.
