Thanks for the color reference! Very helpful. I understand what you're saying about keeping the original orange. The frame paint is not 100% original, though. The original owner had a small dent repaired in the top tube, and the color match is slightly off. It takes the right light to see it, but then it cannot be unseen.
Well, it's more obvious when looking at the bike from the side. Standing over the bike and looking down, the color is indistinguishable from the fork crown. Funny you mention that about the brake bridge. The seller pointed it out to me, and had a specially-filed washer to fix the angle.
