I have used clipless pedals forever. From Look,Shimano, And most recently
Speed Play. When my arches in my feet sank my feet grew and my expensive
road and Mtn bike shoes didn't fit. So I decided to put Speedplay Frog
pedals on both my road and MTN bikes and used one pair of Shimano Mtn shoes
with speedplay cleats so I could walk around without fear of sliding on my
backside. I use the shoes on both bikes. Not sure I'll put them on my Sam. I
like them.Easy to get in and out. There are many others out there as have
been posted above.My two cents.
