That's why I always made the distinction between my being a consultant
as opposed to a contractor. If the client did not want to follow what I felt
were common sense recommendations, especially if they gave some crackpot
paranoid excuse like that, I would simply let them know that I didn't feel that
I was the consultant that they needed, and wouldn't waste their time or money
any longer.
