Sounds like the *perfect* use case scenario for using one of the cloud hosting services like RackSpace or Amazon that allow you to spin up additional VM's quickly, use this instances to load balance your processing requirements, and then terminate these extra VM instances when you no longer need them ... all the while only paying for your VM use on an hourly basis.
