I am an FTE and was hired to help them expand how they work. My boss is a fan of VB6. He loves it because it connects to SQL Server very well. From SQL he can do it all. From VB he can move stuff as needed. At meetings I bring up scaling and we see that in two different ways. He sees a beefier SQL box and I see pulling hard coded rules in SPROCS up to a non db centric language. Our business has so many odd ball rules because of who you are and that "who" changes as fast as a heartbeat. It is the concept of Workers Comp and very hard to understand. I think I get it but NOPE! Everyday is a new "You have to be kidding" kind of day. -- Stephen Russell Unified Health Services 60 Germantown Court Suite 220 Cordova, TN 38018 Telephone: 888.510.2667 901.246-0159 cell _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/CAJidMY+bwHfn5Rzz=aottv8kyxkwgjar6tqv1d_b7kciqaa...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
