SalesForce  and ADP Payroll were the first players in the cloud

You can say what you want to but the cloud can work for a lot of
companies.  My data is too important is about as false as my poo
doesn't stink.

I thought that I read it hit the internet pipe that took out all that service.

To me the cloud works if you are growing.  If you need to be able to
service more customers quickly and then scale back to normal.  The
term "Trending" comes to mind where you need to ramp up in seconds to
minutes.  The cloud fills that need.

My boss has no desire to consider the cloud for what we do.  He is
also a VB6 fan so I understand his resistance.
