This post is the "Why I don't use Ubuntu post" :) The reason why I'm not comfortable with Ubuntu? The cult-like following. Users who will quickly quip, "Use *Buntu". Pretty annoying. I guess I'm just too con-conformist :)
Anyway, Ubuntu is popular because of shipit. And "Professional" looking installers are cool (If you can call barely dressed people professional). OT: Regarding OpenSolaris, I will re-try it when they will not force me to register just to download the ISOs.
