Please don't bash OpenSolaris if you have zero knowledge of what you're talking about, it will backfire on you! FYI, there's no Ubuntu version of OpenSolaris, Nexenta is a distro derived from OpenSolaris, and ZFS is certainly a great filesystem compared to ext3, Sun wouldn't brag about ZFS if it can't put the money where their mouth is.
