As I understood it, it was to allow you to automatically generate the
MFT header for mailing lists where you (frequently?) post, but are not
subscribed to. In these cases you'd want the MFT header to point back
to both to the list and your own address. Previously, there was no way
to do this, since Mutt only defined "subscribed lists".
I haven't looked at the code at all, and all this is gleaned off from
various discussions... So I could be completely wrong.
