Yeah, I agree with you John. Both my iMac running 10.8.3 and MacPro running the same work properly for the most part. Not as functional as Nicholas mentioned whereby he could drop it in a specific place in the Favourites bar but it at least works way better than my MBP. This is an interesting challenge so I'm not giving up on figuring out the differences yet.
