well, it is a lot easier for some things. there is also built-in help and some tutorials. sure there is a learning curve (there is with almost everything) but at least, apple did something right with voiceover. it actually has a standard API and dev tools. I don't see this in windows at all. JAWS uses the video intercept trick to determine if there are boxes or windows and which ones have text. that method is rather proprietary and buggy.
I can tell I am not going to like going back to windows.
