Hi, *grins* Pete is exactly right about this one. So I figured I'd be the one to bring it up.
I think we can expect to see it, though, perhaps. Who knows? I suppose that, in the end though, they might not be able to block it off completely. I think though, that due to the fact that more developers are using HTML5 and that it is actually usable on most, if not all devices, will attribute to the death of Flash eventually. I'm sure it took time for Flash to take over as well, and HTML5 is taking time, too. Just like Flash. Regardless if sighted people need it or not, I was never actually separating blind needs from the needs of sighted folks. This isn't only a screen reader issue. It's a resource problem. And a security risk. Like, a lot. And sure, HTML5 probably has that, too. But again, browsers support it from the start, making it a lot easier to use.
