It _almost works as expected. I get most diacritics right, but for this one: "Proof" "Demonstraţie" (with cedilla below)
which should have been "Proof" "Demonstrație" (with comma below) Since I haven't put the newer ro.po in my tree (the one containing only comma-below Romanian chars), I guess that this is sign of a buglet. Even if the layouttranslations contains the correct with-comma below chars, the LyX doc outputs with-cedilla below chars (for this particular field).
