Is
"List of Tableaux" "Liste des tableaux (TO)"

and
 "Tableau" "Tableau"

in the sense of "table" [1], you know, the thingy with rows and cols?
Are you absolutely sure that "Tableau" is the right term for the
context? I ask because my dictionary doesn't give me a very
mathematical description of this:
WordNet (r) 3.0 (2006) (wn)
tableau
    n 1: a group of people attractively arranged (as if in a
         painting) [syn: tableau, tableau vivant]
    2: any dramatic scene
