Here's where a long-time cricket fan like myself can have a go once in a while with a comment or two.
I'm from back in the days when Yorkshire automatically supplied England with a captain.....Norman Yardley and Len Hutton come to mind. However, in their prime, both were more than just good at fielding positioning and bowler changes. My feeling is - cricket has gone to the dogs anyway......all this one-day crap.....swing at anything that comes near you....I'm all for the return of three-day county matches.....and leave the test matches at five days. There's too much international cricket now....one country visits per year....one tour per year. Enough is enough. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
