If you fail to appreciate the value of field placings and the timing of bowler changes then you make it perfectly clear that you are a know nowt with a big gob. Personally, I would rather play under a man manager and tactician like Vaughan than a hot head like Flintoff. Try not to confuse the issues Rich. Whether Vaughan warrants a place in the team on his batting form alone is, of course, a resounding no. However you are, as always, Mr 'act in haste and repent at leisure' and want him sacking, just as you wanted Blackwell sacking for over 2 years. You don't give a thought for who would replace him nor whether they would do any better. Do you recall Flintoff's dip in form whilst captain for the Ashes? Would you prefer a below par Flintoff in charge or a below par Vaughan? I know my choice but what is yours? You are always quick to pull the trigger but always slow to pin your colours on a viable replacement. Get off the fence Rich and tell us who would make a better captain than Vaughan. Don't just say 'anyone' like you did for the Leeds manager and then back peddle to say that you didn't actually mean anyone either, give us a credible name.
