Not the point Dave.
Our first season most of us hoped for survival, logically thought that was likely but given what had happened to us, plus the threat of a 10point deduction, half expected and wouldn’t have been surprised to see us drop down again. It wasn’t pretty, noone expected it to be.
Second season most of us hoped for a play-off position.
KB kept us up the first season, as it happened relatively comfortably (always around 10pts clear).
KB got us to the playoff final.
In other words HE DID EXACTLY WHAT MOST OF US HOPED FOR. You have just admitted as much.
Case rested? Ha ha ha – yeah as if..

Disagree with the below "Facts".
Not true that is season 1 'nobody gave us a hope in hell' - we finished about where the average of predictions was. As time has gone on that season has been constantly rewritten as some huge success. It was a horrendous season that maybe had to be gone through, but it was no joyous success.
Season 2 I think most people expected a play-off spot - it was certainly not "way above expectations".
This Season for me it is promotion or out, and if come the end of Sept we are not looking like auto promotion contenders, I wpuil;d have him out. POthers can have their own opinions about their expectations but let's not start the usual abuse about 'anti-blackwell camps' having excessive expectations. All thsi labelling of people as bneing either pro or anti (and hands up if I have been guilty on occassion) is very tedious. People have different view and perspectives on what he has dfone well and badly and what are reasonable expectations of him. To say, as some have lazily done, that one campo does not put coherenyt arguments etc is both erroneous and seesm to imply some ofusd sit around in late nighyt huddles devising our next day anti Blackwell email strategy.
Given the time, money, wages and club size Blackwell has had, I think a reasonable expectation for this season is auto promotion. I desperately hope this happens.
If Blackwell is manager all season I thnik we will finish 8th.
I expect him to be kicked out in late September, and then or course it very much depends on who comes in.
Team for Saturday?
Assuming no more signings (and that Crainey, Derry and Cresswell are missing, and Foxe is not signed up) I'd go:
Sully Kelly Gregan Killer Richardson Stone Bakke Westlake Carole Healy Blake
Beckford to come on in second half for blast of pace. In controversial U.S. change of rules, Lewis to be brought on once we are within fieldgoal range for set pieces.
Not putting Richardson at left back with any joy, I just see no alternative.
The above team still desperately needs a centre back and a left back.
