Spot on Dave. Big season for Blackwell and Mark
Humphries and the rest.
For my part I'd love to be wrong about Blackwell and
find that he has learnt from his blunders over the
last 2 years. His first team sheet may give us some
indication e.g. 4-4-2 with players playing in their
BEST POSITIONS. No centre halfs at left back , no
strikers on the wing, no right backs in midfield, no
right footed players on the left wing etc, etc.
For me though I have to be honest and say I'd be
prepared to accept a few defeats early on if it meant
Blackie got the boot and we could get someone in who
knew what they were doing and could rectify the
situation quickly. Obviously the transfer market would
be closed to any new manager but I'm sure with the
current players and decent tactics we could / should
do well in this leage.
Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean I'm going to the
games wanting Leeds to lose - on the contrary I want
Leeds to win every game this season and Blackwell to
take us on into Europe, but you have to be realistic
and in my mind Blackwell has proved he isn't going to
make it so I'd rather sort the situation out sooner
rather than later , especially as I'm paying mega
bucks to watch his team under perform.
