There is no answer to be had next season, that is the point.

As I said, next season most of us will have pretty much the same
expectations of the manager as you have.

I don't think anyone is actually saying he IS the man to get us promoted,
what we are all saying is that he should be given the chance because for the
myriad of reasons given before, we think that actually he has done a
reasonable/as good as could be reasonably expected job up until now.

Our differences in expectations are now gone.

On a slightly different topic, I do find it ironic that you are arguing so
much for 100% quality/class in players and performance, and yet our first
run-ins pretty much revolved around a Mr Viduka.

You used to argue that he wasn't fit to wear the Leeds shirt because he
didn't give 100% effort every match. I remember saying the bloke was a
quality player, the like of which Leeds Utd have not had many in their
history, and that you should just accept he isn't going to give 100% effort
no matter how frustrating, and enjoy the fact that on occasions he was a
world beater.

Now we invariably have 100% effort from the players but you bemoan a lack of
footballing skill/class.

Sort of makes me think you're a bit of a 'grass is greener on the other side
of the fence' bloke.
