I got up early to get a flight in before the winds started up again, but visibility is down to a few 100 yards form smoke.
We guys are still lucky here not to be in the road of the dam fires in Victoria, many were lit by fire bugs, now something like 173 + dead, but early yesterday they was a VERY VERY load clap of thunder, it felt like the windows were going to blow in, I found out latter it hit a tree 100 yards from my hanger, one a mile from my home, where my KR and Serge's Zenith are stored. The tree was set on fire, but the very strong wing was blowing away from the hanger, the Fire Brigade got it out with any problems.
