Julie,

you also said in an earlier post:

Could you explain lesbian seperatism for me please? I've only come across
it recently (from you in fact) and I currently understand it in the form

"We can live quite happily (in fact more happily) *without* men."

Is this only without men sexually or is it more like "seperate from a
male-dominated world"?
I'm interested by the "right to women's energy" remark above also. Is
this the "Type this up for me there's a dear" kind of attitude which
escalates into "You only exist for me to have sex on and to bear my
children"?

Conor (wondering...)

Regarding ESR, Well, he _did_ call it "sex"tips didn't he? He makes
fairly reasonable points IMO, he does talk about mutuality, sensitivity,
respect etc. He doesn't say "if you do One, Two and Three, she (who
wasn't looking for sex in the first place) will be like putty in your
hands" but instead he suggests that if she is interested in a sexual
encounter in the first place that, by being attentive, sexy and so on,
you're going to increase your likelihood of being the guy she'll end up
having sex with. His " two beautiful geekgirl assistants" stuff does
grate a little with me. While they are admittedly beautiful, there does
seem to be something of the tv game show "beautiful assistant" attitude in
his reference to them. It smacks a little of tokenism to me.
