Too bad, since the FAQ has lots of good stuff in it to spark more
discussion. The part about taking girls to the science center and
encouraging them to be interested in science and technology inspired me to
post about how I was encouraged in these things by my parents, the
messages towards kids in general about science during the era I grew up,
how the messages excluded/included girls, and how I responded to this when
I was a girl. I suppose people found it uninteresting to them personally,
or they were just busy. I tried, at any rate. :) I guess I will try
to post about some other topic sometime, so you or whoever else happens
to be interested in discussing things in the issues forum will take
interest and respond.
