It's not that -- someone want to make some (non-adult, preferably, as
that's my area of most annoyance) themes, make some screenshots with
windows containing semi-naked males and see what happens?
Even better, make some screenshots with windows containing something good
and feminist...hmm...somewhere here I have a really good design from a
lesbian avengers' banner ages ago..-- the bomb in the middle, lesbian
avengers on the outside...'snatch the power' along the bottom...if anyone
wants to borrow it, toss me an email ;)
Maybe I should learn how to make a theme and pull off my own experiements
because I will bet that there will be interesting outroar...
am I making sense yet? It's not exactly that people are putting erotic
pictures of females in screenshots, it's that *that* is okay, and that in
some ways that's the most likely place you'll see a picture of a woman in
'mainstream linux'...if it were *just* a few individuals, it wouldn't be
of importance...it's that it is the by-and-large
maybe if a few of us went over and just sent appropriate (polite) comments
to the originators...

Actually, I'm all for rampaging rants...not to mention, hers wasn't
particularly rampaging (if you want rampaging rants, email me..I'm the
king/queen of 'em -- I wrote 22k worth of text in under an hour on the
various idiots I encountered in one seattle day... :) )
And it's not just segregation of themes -- the idea of adult themes having
adult pics in their screenshots is one thing, and isn't particularly
interesting to me right this moment...it's that the other themes do,
too...
