Did that too ... that did set 'Djvsnl.net' ... just what I wanted
BUT the Return-Path header was being set as <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,

Ok ... since I wasn't able to relay using SMART_HOST ... I assumed that
it'd rather be <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ... thus had to REMOVE the macro assignment
from .cf file to set it to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 'by-hand'.
(Should it be that ... or the default ... which I clobbered)

Thats what 'Djvsnl.net' is doing ... modifying the envelope.

Du mean dialing 24880000 ? Ok ... I dial ... get the connection and
within 2 seconds I get 'pppd daemon has died unexpectedly' ... I'm tired of
that.

And I forgot to mention ... I dont have 'init' starting up sendmail ...
instead I invoke sendmail as 'sendmail -q' after connecting to the ISP i.e.VSnL
Could that be causing the trouble ?

Bhagwaan ki kasam kha kay kahta hoon ... PC chalu thaa thakur.

Ok ... this is what I wrote for nullclient config ...

VERSIONID($Id$)
OSTYPE(`what-a-babe-this')
FEATURE(`nullclient',`smtp:smtp.vsnl.net')

When I run 'sendmail -q' ... I get 'DNS Lookup Error: smtp.vsnl.net',
and the same if I replace smtp.vsnl.net with the actuall ip addr.

Any additions/modifications ?

Regards,
Gagan.
