If you are blocked from sending mail at MTA level(which is possible if [EMAIL 
PROTECTED] doesn't like replying back to your friends service provider's abuse desk 
after taking up the issue with you or other types of clueless behavior) 
then you(along with a few more @vsnl.com users) will get a bounce back at 
localhost's(your localhost)
administrative alias(most likely - root) since the return-to address doesn't give the 
right address.
If if its a delivery failure or a MUA level blocking, then a bounce back
will fail and mail will be sent to the postmaster ( or some other
administrative) alias of the MX mailhost, which is then likely to be
looked at by abuse desk ( Ideally).
