Opinion?
I vote for just one channel of communication because as I believe this
would further strengthen our project. Because regional groups of
users will always exist and it is great for the tool!
Even if we decide what we need a forum or other means - we need sure
what is the correct channel for all - I say this because we will be
using it from all days and not matter if it is a forum to share or if
comp.lang.clipper but the question is if you, Prezmek, Pritpal,
Massimo and all other members of the list do not agree to support the
new location.
It is important that all developers say whether they agree or disagree
with this, to have certainty that we are going in the right direction.
No matter the decision, I particularly want to help.
Thank you, I agree still.
Personally, I like a forum much better than
comp.lang.clipper (or any NGs). To me, posting to
a public newsgroup always seemed very complicated
(probably historical reasons) and I still couldn't
get over SPAM and e-mail address privacy concerns.
Search and access is also much alien than a forum.
So, I wouldn't really participate on comp.lang.clipper,
but would probably do so on a forum.
Opinions from others? We need something more than
silence :)
Brgds,
Viktor
