Well, it might work. But the idea with transations is that they should
work for all languages. So I don't think it's a good idea. Better is to
put in a comment in the code saying what the letter is for and then this
comment is copied into the .po file (--add-comments flag to xgettext).
If the same letter is needed for different thing you could us a string
such as (_"acc:f"+4) and (_"fund:f"+5) and then the translator simply
translates "acc:f" -> acc:g" and "fund:f" -> "fund:z" or something.
