When you are translating it is sometime very hard to know the right
translation since it depends on the context. So many times I have to look
into the code to see when and why a string is used. But most of the times
the strings comes from the src/messages_i18n.h (which means I have to do
another search). What is the reson to have this file? Is there a version
of gnucash that does not use gettext?

In the register there is a column for reconcilation. It's marked R. In
swedish this should be an A. Also the small letters n, c and y is not good
for swedish. I dont even know what they stand for in english... But these
can't be translated anyway, so...

In the find transaction dialog there is a:

"Find transaktions affecting" <widget> "selected accounts:"

This is not an good way if you want it to be translatable.

There is some strings that I have not translated. A lot of these belongs
to some sort of budget-dialog. But I can not find this in the
program. It's very hard to translate GnuCash since entries that belongs
togeather are scattered all over the .po file. I guess that has to do with
the messages_i18n.h. When I see a string like "Entry" to translate I have
to find where it is used to make a correct translation. And thats not
always easy.

Then there is some strings that I need help with/have comments about:

Sort by the statement date
--------------------------

This I have translate to the swedish version of
"sort by reconcilation date". Okay?

largest to t, latest to earliest
--------------------------------

This is an error I guess. t=smallest

/Dennis
