Curved spacetime is different from curved worldlines on flat spacetime--SR
can deal with the latter but not the former. Think of the difference
between curved paths in a flat 2D plane (Euclidean geometry) vs. paths on
the curved 2D surface of a sphere (non-Euclidean geometry).
