I believe it is perfectly logical for him to push for an end to the EV tax
credits.  The rich will soon get some big tax breaks, so they won't be hurt
in any way.  With the loss of tax incentives, the rest of us may buy fewer
competing EVs, thus helping to kill off Tesla's competition.  When Tesla is
the only game in town, they can charge any price for their cars.  That is
what monopolies do.  Very likely, stiff tariffs will stifle the import EV
market.  Any questions?
