If you have a 5i25 then you have the option of lots of smart-serial devices. You probably already have at least one smart-serial channel on the expansion connector. The serial GPIO cards only have 1kHz IO, but many also have onboard mpg counters. The 7i73 has 4 encoder channels. -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1916 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
