Good Evening,
It dropped to 32 F the last few nights. Lots of leaves are changing
color. I walked around the property locating game trails. A lot of elk
sign with a few shredded trees. In some places the ground is carved
from many hooves. It took a while but I found young chanterelle
mushrooms. Fallen vine maple leaves are very similar in color.
However, once you find the first mushroom others appear; kind of like elk.
The sun reawakened. There have been three X class flares so far
this week, if I have counted right. Two CMEs on the way - one of them
hit today, while the other is due tomorrow. I expect a steady hiss from
the enhanced solar wind, and a wide variety of QSB from the ringing
ionosphere.
