Good Evening,

It has been a hazy week.  The sun is still fairly yellow so the smoke is not too thick.  Just persistent.  A cold front is due to pass through, then the wind will come in off the Pacific.  I have seen a lot of immature birds lately.  Second crop of Gray Jays.

The sun remains active.  So active it's hard to get a dit in sideways.  The sunspot number is at 382 while the solar flux index is at 306.  The main problem is all of the sunspot flares.  They are sending us a barrage of CMEs.  The stronger flares cause hour long RF black outs.  Between those interruptions the higher bands should work well.
