Good Evening,
The sun is taking a break. This respite may be short lived due to
the unstable sunspot AR3886. The sunspot number dropped to 71, with
flux at 147 sfu. I expect less hiss and less QSB. But AR3886, or a
large filament of magnetism, could trigger an RF black out. Nonetheless
I will try to find open frequencies and call CQ.
There was a day of sun this week, it felt odd :) Currently it is
windy with heavy rain. No branches are flying so the antennas are
safe. Snow level will drop tomorrow. It may or may not snow here. Or
streaks of slush will fall. Either I'm losing track of days or it is
getting cold earlier than normal. Snow usually waits until December.
