Good Evening,
It was a sunny, mild week. Various predators have moderated the
insect population. That, along with some breeze, makes it easier to sit
outside. Helps when you are under a vehicle or up in a tree working on
antennas. I do not miss the fire ants of Houston. If you can't change
your oil quickly they find you and make life unpleasant. At least the
Black Widows of Albuquerque kept to themselves.
The sun is very active. The sunspot number is 212 while solar flux
levels have gone to 202. A few small CMEs are due today and tomorrow.
There should be many types of noise and a variety of QSB modes. May we
live in interesting times :) It will be another test of ears and antennas.
