Unfortunately, I don't think we have an update. The release team hasn't replied at all. In here, only a few people have replied. I appreciate Cedric's offer. It would spare us to find a place to meet. And Cedric and the university have been very accomodating in the past. However, the responses so far are: - Cedric: only before January, 24th - Utkarsh: only after January 24th - Antonio: not to travel too far/long - me: I'm flexible - Lucas was interested when we spoke The general issue(s): - After 24th might be a problem with the (yet to be published) release timeline for Trixie. And the later, the more likely that we will have a conflict with a freeze phase. - The VISA process can be lenghty and tricky, as you mention yourself. If we don't have an agreement by next weekend, I think we can stop pursuing the idea for now. Maybe we do an online meeting instead. Regards, Daniel
