I understand this discussion is for a ruby sprint in Japan. But I want to add, we here in Kochi(not Japan, but Keralam, India) have a space[1] at Bolgatty Island and some fund from DC23 to host ~12 people with bedding and 3 meals a day for the duration(6 days?) of sprint.
