Agreed Joel, Over all I was disappointed with what a standard survey included. I had two in less than a month on two different boats with different surveyors. If not for needing it for the financing I would opt next time for an engine and rigging survey alone. I can swing a moisture meter, and verify the systems "work". There is probably an "inspection check" list for free on the internet that would be as helpful as the surveyors were.
