Hi Hendrick, Thanks for your reply. I was hoping you would tell me how to do it!
My first step is to contact Microsoft tech support to ask them how to do it. I doubt they will tell me anything useful but at least it may annoy them! Then I'll contact Acer tech support to ask them how to do it. Once again I doubt I'll get much useful info but it will show them that people want to run linux on their laptop. Finally, I'll contact ubuntu forum to get info on partitioning and installing on a hybrid drive.
