Upgrades aren't just performed for bugs. They are also performed for improvements. In the case of 0.93.1 the handling of many different file types was improved as well as a few minor bug fixes. The upgrade was primarily done for the improved file handling. Performing an upgrade for a bug that does not affect you or a performance improvement that you will not use is pointless. > When it comes to critical software like a production email server where > everything is so intricated, I compile all the sources and don't rely on > softwares compiled by unknown people unaware of all my needs and reorganizing > the softwares the way they want. So get the patch, apply it, and re-compile. _______________________________________________ Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: visit http://wiki.clamav.net http://lurker.clamav.net/list/clamav-users.html
