That is one of my pet peeves about Clam. IMO, freshclam should not complain unless there's a major difference between old and new. Constant nagging to remain on the cutting edge is very annoying. Believe me, I understand the Clam team's motivation for trying to keep people running current versions, but I think it's taken a bit too far.
